Rickenbacher Model NS (New Style) Lap Steel. 6 string, body stamped from sheet metal, height adjustable horseshoe pickup, white dot markers, three-on-a-plate open back tuners, volume and tone controls with bakelite knobs, two tone grey finish with logo decal on headstock. No serial number on this model, but the features date it to the late forties through to early fifties, when the model was discontinued. The plastic tuner buttons replaced, else all original. A few tiny marks or chips to finish, but overall high 9's and collector's condition. Plenty of output from the Ricky horseshoe pickup and excellent tone.
