c.1942 Rickenbacher Silver Hawaiian. Chrome plated stamped steel body, volume and tone controls, and the famed 1 1/2" Rickenbacher horseshoe pickup. This model was discontinued by 1943 due to the war, and as this one has the decal headstock logo, I've gone for the later end of production. The three-on-a-plate tuners are recent repros of the originals, missing a couple of black position marker dots, and the tone pot replaced, otherwise all original. A little light wear to the chrome finish on the back and in the picking area. but overall a really sharp example. Monster output and sweet tone from the 1 1/2" horseshoe. Comes in the original hardcase. The case a little battered and with a replacement handle, but in decent serviceable condition. Plays very nicely and with no issues. Great looks and super tone. A tasty pre war Ricky.
